Return to Blogdom

Ok, so I started blogging about mine and Christa's epic easter celebration. We cooked delicious food, watched The Two Towers and ended the day with a trip to the movies to see Slumdog Millionaire (um, sweetest thing I've ever seen). But then Sam and Frodo, gchat, and one too many whiskey and cokes (in my favorite coffee mug, I do, indeed, heart Jim) interfered with my attention span. So, here you go, E, feel free to log into my account and make any changes or additions you'd find amusing, but this is as far as I got. What I learned? Leave amusing blog posts up to C. Oakes.

Christa and I are in the midst of the perfect day, an epic day in celebration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Surely, such a day warrants finally posting here again.

This morning, church, where, for once I was responsible for nothing except being present.

Then the grocery store to procure the ingredients for our delicious Easter feast. Christa, genius that she is, had the brilliant idea for our main dish when we entered safeway and saw a display of fresh shrimp. The menu: crostinis- tomato and mozzarella and asparagus and brie, shrimp and grits, and apple pie.
